Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Southerly aspects and some easterly aspects are experiencing melt with areas of bare ground showing/emerging in wind scoured areas. Northerly aspects continue to undergo near surface faceting. HS on northerly aspects remains 2 to 3' in most areas above 8,200'. As for now, the bond between faceted recent storm snow and the rain crust below it remains decent in hand pits on northerly aspects. No signs of instability observed while on tour in the Fireplug and Tamarack Peak areas.
