More detailed information about the snowpack:

Up to 4+ inches of recent new storm snow in this area.  NE winds have been scouring exposed near and above treeline terrain down to firm crusts.  A variety of wind crusts and wind effected snow exists even in some treed terrain.  On northerly aspects where soft snow existed before, the new snow has added to the soft snow conditions.  Most other aspects had a variety of supportable and breakable crusts with the new snow now on top.  In localized areas, small sections of superficial wind slabs existed that showed cohesion and cracking-see photos.  These areas were isolated and very small not causing any travel issues for backcountry users.

Low snow coverage exists below 7400' with many obstacles and open water creek crossings.
