More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Strong SW winds were moving very light amounts of snow around in wind exposed areas.  Unconsolidated snow continues to exist on protected northerly aspects with firm crusts and wind effected surface snow in exposed areas.  Small superficial wind slabs were observed in near treeline terrain but did not pose a problem for backcountry users.  Snowpack tests at snowpit location showed an overall well bonded snowpack, with no problematic weak layers, and a snowpack ready for additional load.  Cloud cover increased throughout the morning with snow beginning to fall on the West Shore around 2pm.
