More detailed information about the snowpack:

Facets were still reactive to snowpack tests and showed mostly consistent unstable test results at 2 different locations, 9200' and 9400' on north aspects below treeline and near treeline-see snowpit.  Facets at the lower elevation test site were moist and at the upper site were dry to moist.  With that said, there appeared to be no difference in the unstable snowpack test results.  No cracking, collapsing, or whumphfing was observed in these areas.  Minimal blowing snow was observed with only minor signs that wind transport was occuring or had occurred recently in this area.
