Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Warm and calm conditions on Incline Lake Peak today.  Evidence of minor wind scouring and wind loading was limited to the top 100' off of the main ridge.  Unconsolidated snow existed in open terrain in near treeline and below treeline areas on northerly aspects.  Aspects receiving sun were becoming slow and sticky by mid day with sun crusts developing.  At a test pit just below 9000', on a north aspect, snowpack tests were done focusing around the crusts in the old snow.  CT's showed nonreactive results with a CTN and a CT-30 Q3 at the old snow/recent storm snow interface.  There are several different crusts with some layers of lighter density  snow in between these crusts.  No failures were seen in any of these layers with CT's.

Loose wet avalanche activity in the form of roller balls were occurring in the mid day hours.  Some small point releases were observed in steep E facing terrain.
