Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

2-4'' of wet snow existed on the snow surface on East aspects by the late morning hours.  Previous roller ball activity was observed on most aspects in this area in steep terrain.  A CT was done in the crown of an old avalanche that was thought to have occurred during/or just after the last storm cycle, Jan 24-25.  This avalanche was thought to have failed on the near crust facet layer that was found throughout the forecast area.  The CT showed no results on the near crust facets that were buried up to 3' deep.  There were 2x CTM RP results that were within the past storm snow.  The conditions that caused this avalanche do not seem to remain present in this area.
