Variable snow depths were found on the east side of Andesite Ridge with some places mostly melted out and up to 65cm of snow remaining in other places. Difficult ski conditions with many melted out branches and logs in addition to a breakable crust. No wind transport observed due to no new snow at this elevation.

In the test pit a mostly uniform snow pack of melt forms and rounded grains existed.
