- Wind slab - Reported avalanches (5 human-triggered, 9 natural)
- Mid and upper snowpack wind slabs with some facets below the wind slabs near and above treeline.
- No problematic weak layers in the lower snowpack, but some faceting in shallower areas.
- Gale force SW winds on 12/14 and on 12/18
- New snow events up to 4 inches on 12/18 and 12/21
- Very light rain on new snow up to 8,700' along the Sierra Crest
