  • Shifting winds have left a mix of hard wind slabs, wind buff, and scoured surfaces including exposed rain crusts in open near and above treeline areas. 
  • In more sheltered areas, softer, looser snow (facets) exist near the surface.
  • In some areas, the Dec. 12 rain crust is starting to disintegrate.
  • Winter storm from 12/22-12/25 with 4-15 inches of new snow and wind.
  • Strong E and NE winds 12/25 - 12/27
