- Wind slabs - No avalanches reported
- Rain crusts exist on the snow surface up to ~ 9000 ft. Above that elevation, a mix of wind affected surfaces exist.
- Data and observations across the forecast area indicate that a well-consolidated snowpack exists below the surface in most places.
- Strong winds shifting between SW and NE all week.
- Unforecast rain event up to ~9000 ft. with some light snow accumulation above ~9000 ft. on New Years Day.
