  • A generally weak, shallow, and variable snowpack exists throughout the forecast region
  • Whumping, cracking, and unstable snowpack test results early in the weak decreasing towards the end of the week
  • The Dec 11 PWL has gained strength and adjusted to the snow load on top
  • Some indications that the Dec 11 PWL could reactivate with additional storm loads
  • Wind crusts and wind scoured snow surfaces exist on most aspects and elevations
  • Multiple strong to gale force SW to NE wind events
  • Mostly clear with cold nights, temperature inversions on nights without wind events
