4/9/2022 to 4/15/2022
- Wind slab - One skier triggered avalanche reported 4/15 with two partial burials.
- Loose Wet - Numerous D1 avalanches reported on 4/15
- Storm Slab - No avalanches reported
- Recent storm snow on top of bare ground on solar aspects and on top of a well consolidated snowpack on polar aspects.
- Widespread melt-freeze on all aspects prior to the 4/11 storm event.
- Storm events on 4/11 and 4/15 for a total of 5 to 30 inches of new snow. Greatest snowfall totals were along the Sierra Crest in the northern half of the forecast area.
