Mt. Judah/Wildflower Ridge

Donner Summit Area
Thin snow cover over the rock N slopes of Mt. Judah above Old Hwy 40. Wind drifts along the approach giving indications of the expected wind slab concerns. Wind pillow and early stage cornice formation across the top of Wildflower Ridge. 4F hard wind slab over F hard new snow. This structure was limited to wind drifted areas. Thin snowcover in the North Bowl of the East Face of Mt. Judah. My track across the top of Wildflower ridge, refilled after about 35 minutes. Forecaster
