Near and above treeline the avalanche danger is CONSIDERABLE on N-NE-E aspects with pockets of CONSIDERABLE danger on NW and SE aspects steeper than 32 degrees. Below treeline the avalanche danger is MODERATE with pockets of CONSIDERABLE on NW-N-NE-E aspects steeper than 32 degrees. Variability in distribution and type of weak layers makes the avalanche danger more uncertain and requires extra caution.

This morning, avalanche danger is LOW for all elevations and aspects. After the onset of snowfall, expect some pockets of MODERATE danger to develop late this afternoon near and above treeline on N-NE-E aspects that are 35 degrees and steeper.

Near and above treeline the avalanche danger is MODERATE with pockets of CONSIDERABLE on NW-N-NE-E-SE slopes steeper than 35 degrees. Below treeline the avalanche danger is LOW with pockets of MODERATE on open slopes steeper than 35 degrees.

Near and above treeline on slopes steeper than 35 degrees, the avalanche danger is CONSIDERABLE  on N-NE-E aspects with pockets of CONSIDERABLE on NW and SE aspects. Below treeline on open slopes steeper than 35 degrees, the avalanche danger is MODERATE with pockets of CONSIDERABLE on the NW-N-NE-E-SE aspects. Human-triggered avalanches will be probable today.  Use extra caution when traveling in the backcountry.
